7. Remove the add-on top part (8972344SP) by unscrewing the three (3) screws. Then, remove the add-on parts
marked L (Left) and R (Right) by unscrewing the two screws. Put the screws to the side to be reused during the
reassembly of these add-on parts.
8. When all plastic and foam components are removed and/ or detached, clean all the components with a clean, soft,
well-soaked, and non-abrasive cloth.
9. Clean the Face Shield's internal and external grills with a clean, soft, wet, and non-abrasive cloth. To complete.
clean the whole Face Shield surface by assuring that the top and bottom grill openings are free from foreign matters
with the cloth.
10. Clean the mask's fabric cover by using a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth. Quickly spin the fabric cover to remove the
excess water and reduce drying time.

11. Clean the FX
surfaces (inside and outside) and the air opening with a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth.
12. Clean the Hard Top Cover (8971905SP) by using a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth. Ensure that all Hook Velcro are
free of foreign matters and let it dry completely.

Drying the FX 9004 Helmet, Head Protector components prior to reassembly
1. Using a clean cloth, wipe the inside and outside of the FX
with a soft (non-abrasive), dry cloth, making sure to wipe all water stains from both lens surfaces (inside and outside).
2. Using a clean cloth, wipe both close-cell foam parts: the forehead and mustache goggle foams. Ensure there is no
excess moisture.

3. Allow all FX 9004 parts (left ear, right ear, chin and forehead foam parts, add-on top, left, and right parts, anti-soap
baffle, and fabric cover) to dry completely prior to reassembly with the Face Shield.
4. Allow the Hard-Top Cover to dry completely prior to use of the FX
Hook Velcro are free of foreign matters prior to use.
