Procedure 1 (Mask's Light Cleaning) has been developed in order to rapidly clean the FX
after been used during training scenarios without the use of any tools or special equipment. The degree of cleanness of
Procedure 1 is effective, simple, and practical for the user at the scenario's site. All visible traces or particles of marking
compound will be removed and dislodged with minimal effort. Simply use clean, soft clothes with either clean hot or cold
tap water. Use Procedure 1 (Mask's Light Cleaning), to ensure that the FX
immediate use but shall not be considered as a sanitized procedure.
To complete Procedure 1, follow the below steps:
1. Remove and/or detach all Close Cell Foams, which are located inside of the FX
consisting of the Ears (left 8972249 and right 8972251), Chin (8972250), and Forehead (8972252) foam parts, simply
by pulling them free from the inside of FX
2. Remove the Goggle's Forehead (8971016) and Mustache (8971017) foam parts, simply by pulling them free from the
goggle with your hand.
3. Remove the external fabric (8972246SP) pieces that cover the Face Shield, simply by pulling them free with your hand.
4. From the inside, clean your FX
wash all surfaces. Important: do not use any products containing ammonia on the Lens.
5. Clean all the internal grilles and all internal surface area of the Face Shield with a clean soft, wet, and non-abrasive
cloth.
6. From the external side of the Face Shield, clean the outside surface of the Anti-soap Baffle (8972253) and the three
add-on parts (8972344SP). One is located on top (1) and the two others are located at the bottom (2) on the external
contour of the goggles. Clean the whole external Face Shield surface area with a clean soft, wet, and non-abrasive
cloth. For best results, use a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth.
7. Clean and wash all Close Cell foam parts with a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth.
8. Clean the mask's fabric cover by using a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth. Then, to remove the excess of water trapped
inside of the mask's fabric cover, quickly spin the fabric cover above your head. This prompt spinning movement will
reduce the drying time as it will quickly release the trapped water.
9. Lastly, clean the Hard-Top Cover by using a clean, soft, well-soaked cloth. Ensure that all Hook Velcro are free of
foreign matters.

Drying the FX
9004 Helmet, Head Protector Components Prior to Reassembly
1. Using a clean, dry cloth, wipe the inside and outside of the FX
the Face Shield. Ensure there is no excess moisture. Wipe the lens carefully with a soft (non-abrasive), dry cloth,
making sure to wipe any and all water stains from both lens surfaces (inside and outside).
2. Using a clean cloth, wipe all Close Cell Foam parts. Make sure there is no excess moisture.

3. Allow all FX
9004 parts (Ear left and Ear right, Chin and Forehead foam parts, Forehead and Mustache goggle foams,
and the fabric cover to dry completely prior to reassembly with the Face Shield.
4. Allow the Hard-Top Cover to dry completely before using with the FX
all Hook Velcro are free of foreign matters, prior to use.
