Trouble
- Tip dripping (instrument leaks)
- Aspirated volume too low
- Delivered volume too low
- Slow suction or none
- Volume too high
Possible Causes
- Unsuitable tip
- Tip not seated tightly
- Pipette shaft cone loose
- Seal contaminated
- Seal damaged
- Non-aqueous solutions pipetted
- Piston damaged
- Shaft clogged
- Pipetting key pressed too far
(into the blow-out position)
