eKey operation with e-drive/e-access
When an open command is given with the authorised finger, the e-drive/e-access
always only moves to handle engaged, both with impulse and permanently open.
eKey OEM MSL replacement/deregistration and single
operation
1. Switch DIP1 – DIP6 to OFF, DIP7 and DIP8 to ON. Press and hold the service
button for at least 15 seconds until all input LEDs flash.
2. The evaluation control is now deenergised.
3. Wait at least until the last LED goes out (> 5 sec.) before switching on again.
4. Connect the evaluation control without eKey and wait until the entire search
process is complete. The evaluation control is in single mode again. The eKey,
including its stored finger, can be used elsewhere.
5. Connect the evaluation control with eKey and wait until the entire search
process is complete. All data on the eKey is now deleted!! The eKey remains
registered, but must be reprogrammed according to the eKey manual.
6. Then restore all DIP switches to their original state, e. g. DIP1 – DIP8 OFF.
