headrest (Fig. 14) so that the harness straps
come out at shoulder height (Fig. 15).
12. To adjust the tension of the child seat har-
ness straps, adapting them to your child's
body, carefully pull on the adjustment
strap (I) to achieve the desired level of
tightness (Fig. 16).
13. To remove your child from the seat, press
the buckle button (F) and release the har-
ness straps (Fig. 17).
5. CHANGE OF CHILD CAR SEAT SET-UP
FROM GROUP 1 (9-18 KG) TO GROUP
2-3 (15-36 KG)
To change the set-up of the child car seat from
Group 1 to Group 2-3, proceed as follows:
1. Use the headrest and harness adjustment
button (A) on the top of the backrest to ex-
tend the headrest as far as possible. Loosen
the integrated belts as far as possible (Fig. 18).
2. Remove the baby insert if present.
3. Remove the shoulder straps (R) (Fig. 19).
4. Unfasten the child seat harness straps (E)
from the hook and position the hook in the
dedicated slot (Fig. 20A – 20B).
5. Pass the child seat harness straps (E) and
the shoulder straps (D) through the holes.

6. Unfasten the buckle (F) (Fig. 22).
7. Remove the crotch strap protection (G) (Fig.
23) and store in a safe place for future use.
8. Lift the seat lining (Fig. 24). Pull out the belt
positioner (Fig. 25 A). Place the buckle (F) in
the dedicated compartment (Fig. 25).
9. Remove the fabric part, unhooking it from
the structure (Fig. 26).
10. Place the two parts of the buckle and the
straps (rolling them up) in the dedicated
slot (Fig. 27).
11. Place the shoulder straps in the dedicated
slot (Fig. 28).
12. Replace the fabric and the crotch strap
once you have completed the above steps.
6. FITTING THE CHILD CAR SEAT IN
THE CAR AND SEATING CHILDREN IN
GROUP 2-3 (15-36 KG)
1. Place the child car seat onto the chosen for-
ward-facing car seat (Fig. 29).
2. Pass the diagonal strap of the vehicle seat-
belt behind the headrest and through the
specific red diagonal belt slot (C) under
the headrest. Carefully place your child in
the seat (Fig. 30), making sure their back is
well supported by the backrest.
3. Fasten the car seat belt to its buckle ensur-
ing that both the waist and the diagonal
strap pass through the waist belt straps L
(Fig. 31A). Pass the waist portion of the belt
in the belt positioner (Fig. 31 B).
4. When adjusting the height of the headrest
check that the diagonal belt guide (C) is
positioned above the shoulder at a maxi-
mum distance of 2 cm (Fig. 32).
5. Pull the diagonal strap of the car seatbelt to-
wards the retractor, ensuring that the belt is
tight and fits properly over your child's legs
and chest (Fig. 33).
6. Check that the child car seat is fitted cor-
rectly.
WARNING!
• Always check that the seat belt is distributed
evenly in all points and that it is not twisted.
• Check that the diagonal seat belt fits correct-
ly across your child's shoulders and does not
press on the their neck; if necessary, adjust
the headrest.
• Check that the car seatbelt retractor is be-
hind the backrest of the car seat (Fig. 34).
To remove a child from a Group 2 and 3 child
car seat:
1. Release the car seatbelt from its buckle.
2. Remove the car seatbelt from the child's
body.
3. Carefully remove the child from the child
car seat.
WARNING! If you do not intend to remove
the child car seat, fasten the car seatbelt in
its buckle so that it restrains the child car seat
even when not in use; this will avoid danger in
the event of an accident or the sudden brak-
ing of the car.
7. REFITTING THE HARNESS FOR GROUP
1 (9-18 KG)
Follow the instructions illustrated in sections 5
and 6 in reverse order.
8. ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE HEAD-
REST
It is possible to adjust the height of the head-
