Adjusting the drilling depth
⇒ Switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply�
⇒ Remove drill (see Chapter 6�2)�
⇒ Insert the drilling depth adjusting tool (11) into the drill chuck
from above and adjust the stop screw on the inside:
⇒ turn left
♦ Drill hole diameter gets larger�
♦ Pin sits deeper in plastic plate�
⇒ turn right
♦ Drill hole diameter get smaller�
♦ Pin sits more shallow in plastic plate�
One entire revolution of the stop screw changes the drilling depth by 0.45 mm.
A practicable setting is achieved when the inserted pin is flush with the plastic plate when the
desired press-in pressure is applied.
If the setting of the stop screw (drilling depth) changes on its own, the stop screw must be re-
placed.

Cleaning / Maintenance

The device does not contain any internal parts that require maintenance.
6.1
Cleaning
⇒ Only wipe the housing with a damp cloth�
⇒ Regularly remove loose plastic chips�
Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
6.2
Changing the drill
⇒ Switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply�
⇒ Turn the drill mount with your fingers until the mark on the drill
chuck points to the side�
⇒ Use the L-key (12) to loosen the fastening screw until the drill
moves (about 1/2 turn)�
⇒ Remove drill upwards�
⇒ Insert new drill�
⇒ Re-tighten fastening screw�
Screw in the screw as far as it will go and then tighten about
1/8 turn.
If the drill is not sufficiently secured, the drilling process may
be interrupted.
Only use a drill with a shaft diameter of 3 mm (+ 0 / - 6 µ).
