18. TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible cause
Boundary cable defective,
automatic lawnmower does not
find base station.
Battery exhausted.
Charging electronics faulty.
Automatic lawnmower does
not touch charging contacts.
PIN code has been entered
incorrectly.
Working time of automatic
lawnmower is too short.
Mowing area too big.
Ratio of cut height to tall grass is
incorrect.
Cutting blades are blunt.
Grass is blocking rotation of
cutting blade plate or motor
shaft or is making it more
difficult to rotate.
Time on automatic lawnmower
or start and finish time for
mowing must be set.
Imbalance on cutting blade or
cutting blade drive.
Solution
Check boundary cable for
interruptions, if necessary have it
tested by a SOLO service
partner.
Battery service life exceeded.
Have battery renewed by a
SOLO service partner.
Have charging electronics
renewed by a SOLO service
partner.
Put automatic lawnmower into
base station and check if
charging contacts make
contact.
Have charging contacts
checked and renewed by a
SOLO service partner.
Enter correct PIN code. Three
attempts are allowed, after
which a PUK code must be
entered.
Programme longer working
times.
Reduce mowing area.
Set cutting height taller, then
reduce in stages to required
height.
Renew cutting blades or have
them sharpened by a SOLO
service partner; install with new
screws.
Remove grass and ensure that
cutting blade plate can rotate
freely.
Set time.
Check and clean cutting blade
and cutting blade plate, renew
if necessary.
