7.3 LED flashing pattern
The µP1 and µP2 LEDs flash as follows:
Normal mode
Error mode
7.4 Communication
The PSU01 continuously transmits data, in the event of an error with priority to the error. The PSU01
allows visualizing certain system parameters. Safety-relevant data can only be read. More detailed
information on the parameters can be found in the programming manual.
7.5 Failures
In case of failures, proceed as follows:
1. Check the proper installation of the Ants LES01 (Sensor Safe).
2. Check the proper installation of the Position Supervisor Unit.
3. Check the proper integration of both systems.
4. Check the correctness of all connections.
Also take into consideration all instructions of the Ants LES01 operating instruction. In the event of
a PSU01 lock, an installer must read the error code on a CANopen monitor (see programing in-
structions) or a compatible control and remedy it. The following table shows an overview of possible
failures:

Measure
See Ants LES01 (Sensor Safe)
operating manual
Replace the PSU01
Replace the PSU01
Test bus lines for possible failures
Check voltage supply, check power

operation (see above) possible
PSU01 restarts with a self test. No
measure required.
PSU01 has reset to delivery
condition. Restore the UCM option
according to the basic configuration.
Reconfigure the PSU01. The UCM
option shall not be modified.
Check whether the safety circuit has
been correctly integrated.
