• Do not pick up corrosive substances unless the machine has specifi c containers (AISI
304 stainless steel).
• Do not pick up burning cigarette butts. They could damage the fi lter.
• Do not vacuum gasoline or fl ammable liquids in general.
• Do not vacuum any ignition sources.
• Insert the electrical plug into a NON-CASSIFIED receptacle, i.e., in a safe area.
For industrial pre-separators with LONGOPAC SYSTEM:
• If the pre-separator is used to collect toxic dusts, the emptying of the Longopac and the
cleaning of the fi lter must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations (protective clothing) for the aspirated material.
• Do not open the Longopac collection container while the pre-separator is running.
2.3
Information signs and symbols
Signs with symbols and/or warnings are attached to the pre-separator.
Caution.
Make sure that all safety instructions are legible.
Clean them with a cloth, water and soap. Avoid the use of solvents, petroleum or gasoline.
Request replacements for damaged signs from THE MACHINE MANUFACTURER.
If a shield is on a replaced part, make sure that a new shield is also attached to the new
part.

rying out maintenance operations.
