Caution.
During insertion and locking of the waste container (or Longopac container) on the pre-se-
parator, there is a risk of crushing the upper limbs.
Never insert your hands between the waste container (or Longopac container) and the
pre-separator during locking.
Never insert your hands into the sides of the container (or Longopac container) near the
guide bolts when locking.
Lock the container (or Longopac container) WITH BOTH HANDS on the levers attached to
the sides!
2.4 Residual dangers
The careful hazard analysis carried out by the manufacturer and fi led in the technical do-
cumentation has made it possible to eliminate most of the hazards associated with the use
of the pre-separator.
The manufacturer recommends unconditional and strict observance of the instructions,
procedures and notes contained in the manual, as well as of the safety regulations in
force, including the use of the personal protective equipment and protective devices of the
preseparator.
Possible residual hazards emanating from the pre-separator may include:
Risk of improper use in the presence of defl agrating or fl ammable substances.
The pre-separator must not be used in environments containing liquid substances which
may vaporize at ambient temperature, or fl ammable dusts or gases.
Danger of operation in a humid environment.
Observe the limit values listed in this manual in section 1.6 Permissible ambient conditi-
ons.
Danger of incorrect interpretation of the safety pictograms.
Due to the hazards present, the manufacturer has placed hazard warnings on the pre-se-
parator in accordance with the requirements for the graphic symbols to be used.
The operator is obliged to immediately replace danger signs that have become illegible
due to wear or damage.
Attention.
It is strictly forbidden to remove the danger notices from the pre-separator.
The manufacturer declines any liability for the safety of the preseparator in case of non-ob-
servance of this prohibition.
