8-PIN IGNITION SWITCH CONNECTIONS, continued
7. Plug the remote engine start ignition harness 8-pin
female connector into the vehicle's ignition switch.

8. Reconnect the 2-pin key lock solenoid connector, making
sure the harness is routed outside (passenger side) of
the remote engine start ignition harness. (FIGURE DD)
In addition, ensure the 2-pin key chime connector on the
left hand side of the vehicle's ignition switch has not been
disconnected and is completed engaged. (FIGURE DD)
CAUTION: IF EITHER CONNECTOR IS NOT FULLY
ENGAGED, THE IGNITION KEY COULD BE REMOVED
WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER IS NOT IN
PARK.
9. Carefully fold back the remote engine start ignition
harness 8-pin foam wrapped male connector. Plug the
previously unplugged vehicle's female ignition switch
connector into the remote engine start ignition harness
8-pin male connector. (FIGURE DD)
10. Secure the remote engine start ignition harness to the
vehicle's wiring harness using two (2) of the supplied
39cm tie wraps. (FIGURE EE)
CAUTION: DO NOT SECURE THE REMOTE ENGINE
START IGNITION HARNESS TO ANY YELLOW HAR-
NESSES/CONNECTORS (AIRBAG SYSTEM) IN THE
VEHICLE.
