Important Information
EP "P-51 D Mustang" RtF Model Airplane
Item no.: 20 55 22
Dear Customer,
In the present version of the plane model, the control lever assignment of the transmitter
changed as compared to the predecessor. In contrast to the information in the included
operating instructions, the engine function is now controlled with the left control lever, and the
elevator with the right one.
The figure numbers in the following text correspond to the operating instructions of
the 205522.
The control elements are now assigned as follows:
1. Carrying handle
2. Telescopic antenna
3. LED display for operating voltage
4. Trim slider for elevator
5. Control lever for aileron and elevator
6. Trim slider for the aileron
7. Function switch
8. Reverse switch for the elevator
9. Reverse switch for the engine function
10. Reverse switch for the rudder
11. Reverse switch for the aileron
12. Transmitter crystal
13. Trim slider for rudder
14. Control lever for the rudder and engine functions
15. Trim slider for the engine function
16. Eye for the optionally available belt
Please observe that all text sections in the operating instructions that refer to the
control lever functions are no longer correct due to the swapped assignment of
levers.
Version 11/10
Figure 2
Verification of rudder function is now as follows in the corrected version:
Aileron function
If the control lever for the aileron and elevator functions (see fig. 2, item 5) is moved to the left,
the left aileron must deflect to the top and the right aileron to the bottom.
If the control lever for the aileron and elevator functions is moved to the right, the left aileron
must deflect to the bottom and right aileron to the top.
Elevator function
If the control lever for the aileron and elevator functions (see fig. 2, item 5) is moved down, the
elevator must deflect to the top.
If the control lever for the aileron and elevator functions is moved up, the elevator must deflect
to the bottom.
Rudder function
If the control lever for the rudder and engine functions (see fig. 2, item 14) is moved to the left,
the rudder must deflect to the left.
If the control lever for the rudder and engine functions is moved to the right, the rudder must
deflect to the right.
Motor Function
If the control lever for the rudder and engine functions (see fig. 2, item 14) is moved to the
bottom position, the engine is off. If the control lever is moved to the top, the engine speed
changes according to lever position. The maximum engine speed is reached when the control
lever reaches the top position!
