MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
Please review the following guidelines before beginning the
installation of the Riptide Edge:
1. The Motor should be mounted as close to the centerline or keel
of the boat as possible when it is deployed.
2. Make sure bow area under the chosen location is clear and unobstructed for drilling.
3. Make sure the Motor Rest is positioned far enough beyond the edge of the boat. The Motor, as it is lowered into the water or raised
into the boat, must not encounter any obstructions.

a. Review the mounting considerations at the
beginning of this section. Place the Mount as close
to the centerline or keel of the boat as possible, with
the motor in the deployed position, on the deck of
the boat. Check placement with the motor in the
stowed and deployed positions.

When raising or lowering motor, keep fingers clear of all
hinge and pivot points and all moving parts.
