5)
Switch the device on at the main switch.
6)
Press the on/off switch on the handle to start the pump and have the paint conveyed
into the roller via the hose (this can take up to 1 minute, depending on the paint).

Working with the Powerroll system

Attention! When changing between the FineLiner and the larger roller frame,
paint can spray out of the handle because of the pressure inside the system.
Therefore change the roller frame only in a covered area and keep the handle
held away from you.
Even application of the paint is important to attain good results.
i
If there is not enough paint in the roller, it is more difficult to attain an even
coverage. If too much paint is pumped into the roller, the paint can run. Try
it out first on a piece of card and switch the pump on and off to suit your
preferred speed of painting.
If you want to paint a complete room, paint the ceiling first, followed by the walls.
Start at sources of light (e.g. window) and work away from them.
Always finish painting a wall before taking a longer break.
If the extension adapter is mounted, you can hold the handle with both hands, which
can be more convenient.
Always switch the pump off at the handle first, before you switch the device off at the
main switch.

Working with the fineliner

Use the FineLiner to paint corners and edges without having to mask
i
them first. The special edge brush, integrated into the side-frame, enables
the paint to be evenly applied right into the smallest of corners.
The FineLiner is also suitable for small areas, for which a normal paint roller is
usually too big.
When you are working on corners and edges, keep the side-frame folded upwards (fig. 9 A).
When painting smaller areas, keep the side-frame folded down (fig. 9 B).
When you are painting corners, the side-frame (fig. 10, 1) has to point towards the
corner.
Align the edge-brush (fig. 11, 1) so that it points towards the area you are painting.
Align the FineLiner by loosening the yellow locknut (fig. 12, 1) and turning the FineLiner
into the required position.
