CMMO-ST Safe torque off
1.2.3
Diagnostics coverage range (DC) of the motor controller
The diagnostics coverage range of the motor controller depends on the type of diagnostics applied. If a
potentially dangerous malfunction is recognised during the diagnostics, appropriate measures must be
taken to maintain the safety level.
Note
The CMMO-ST cannot detect a cross circuit in the input circuit by itself.
• Check to see if a cross-circuit detection of the input circuit and the connection wiring
is required for your application.
• If necessary, use a safety switching device with cross-circuit detection for activation
of the safety module.
