Diagnostics and troubleshooting

Diagnostics contact
– Diagnostics contact open: STO function inactive or requested on one channel only, e.g. because one
channel has failed.
– Diagnostics contact closed: STO function active.
The diagnostics contact is equipped with one channel and may be used for diagnostics
purposes, but must not be used in the safety circuit.
7-segment display
Display Description
The "H" indicates that the voltage supply of the motor is switched off via one or two
channels. Observe the following: The 7-segment display is controlled by a non-safety-
relevant finite state machine of the CMMO-ST.

Error messages
When the STO function is requested, the error message 0x34 is displayed. This can be configured as an
error, a warning or an information. An entry in the diagnostics memory is optional.
4.2

Maintenance, updating, repair

The motor controller requires no maintenance.
Note
Repair or overhaul of the motor controller is not permissible.
• If required, exchange the complete motor controller.
