4. Hold brush plug shaft with .375 inch wrench and
loosen Allen head screw, 6 mm Allen wrench
required (Figure 42).

5. When adjusting front brush, turn shaft clockwise to
lower brush end. If adjusting rear brush, turn shaft
counter--clockwise to lower brush end. Retighten
Allen screw after adjusting (Figure 43).

6. Replace idler plate and recheck brush pattern,
readjust if necessary.

REMOVING BRUSHES/PADS

DISC SCRUB HEAD

Disc brushes should be replaced if bristles are worn to
a length of 10 mm (0.38 in) or less.
NOTE: Always replace brushes as a set. Never
replace just one.
1. Press bottom half of brush pressure switch until
scrub head is completely raised.
2. Turn key to the off position.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off machine,
and set parking brake, if equipped.
3. Push brush release knobs downward to release
scrub brushes/pad drivers (Figure 44).

4. Squeeze retaining clip on centerlock to remove
pad (Figure 45).
