Safety information
• Connection and repair work on the diaphragm metering pump may only be undertaken by
authorised experts.
• Work on electrical equipment must, above all, be undertaken with the mains plug unplugged.
• Suitable protective clothing must be worn during maintenance and repair work.
• Safety regulations covering the handling of chemicals must always be observed.

Is used if incorrect observation of or failure to observe operating instructions, work
instructions, prescribed procedures and similar can lead to injuries or accidents.
This is used to warn the reader in cases where ignoring or failing to carefully follow
operating instructions, work instructions, defined working procedures and similar can
lead to the unit being damaged.
Used when particular care must be exercised when handling the unit.
This is used to draw the reader's attention to an aspect of particular importance.
If transport is discovered on the pump during unpacking, it may not be put into
operation!
Always rinse the metering head to remove dangerous media and depressurise the
pressure circuit before repair and servicing work. Wear protective clothing (safety
goggles, safety gloves and apron).
Electrical repairs may only be carried out by electricians. Follow safety regulations set by
the Employers' Liability Insurance Association VB G 4 & ZH 1/11)!
When opening covers or removing parts, other parts carrying an electrical current can be
exposed.
Connecting parts can also be live.
Only original equipment spare parts may be used for repairs.
