The DE-4-CFG-200 software allows you to configure the
settings for communication with the serial interface (either
RS 232 or RS 485). This is done with the menu item " File/
Communication parameters...".
You can choose the data transfer rate (baud rate) and the
serial interface to be used (COM port) for communicating
with the frequency inverter. All available COM ports in your
PCs are listed. Click on "OK" to accept your changes or click
on "Cancel" to exit the dialog without making any changes.
The drive controllers which are shown in the list "Drives
connected to bus" can only be started in Online mode. The
configured baud rate for the drive controller must match the
default baud rate for the software.
You can print the parameter records for the drive controller
on the standard printer with the menu item "File/Print" . You
can only choose this menu item if:
• a frequency inverter is connected, or
• you have selected an inverter description in offline mode.
The menu item "Help/Program" contains a detailed descrip-
tion of the program.
