Diagnostics
No communication with the drive controller
Cause
The drive controller is switched off
• Operating state LEDs for drive controller are
not lit or flashing.
• Green Vcc LED is flashing.
DE4-COM-2X interface module not connected
to power supply.
• Green Vcc LED is not lit.
• Green Vcc LED does not flash.
DE4-COM-2X has not initialised with the drive
controller.
• Green Vcc LED is flashing.

Faults and remedies

Remedy
Connect drive controllers to the power supply (see
drive controller manual)
If the power supply to the interface module is
provided internally by the drive controller, check
correct connection between interface module and
drive controller.
If the power supply is external, check the voltage
on the + and – terminals with a voltmeter. The
voltage must lie between 15 and 30 V.
Connect drive controller to the power supply (see
drive controller manual)
Check correct connection between the interface
module and drive controller.
