h The interface module may only be used when it is in
perfect working order.
Warning!
Before switching on the mains voltage, check all of the
wiring for short circuits, shorts to ground and ensure that
the wiring is complete.
Please observe the following sequence when switching on
for the first time:
Switch on the drive controller and the external power

supply for the interface module (if used). The operating
state LEDs for the drive controller and the green LED on
the interface module should light up or flash; if this is not
the case, see „Diagnostics" Page 41.
The data transfer rate (baud rate) of the frequency inverter

(PNU 0125) is set in the factory to 9600 baud. If a
different baud rate is required, set the baud rate with the
optional LCD keypad or the control computer (i. e. PC with
DE4-CFG-1 operating software).
If required, configure the controller address (PNU 0009).

The factory setting is PNU 0009 = 1. If multiple drive
controllers are networked, each drive controller must be
assigned with a unique address by the control computer.
Each drive controller must receive a different device
address (PNU 0009). The values 00, 10, 20, 30, ... 90 must
not be used because they are reserved for group
addressing. The address can be set with the control unit.
