EKSTRA PLUS is a unit intended exclusively for the Dental Industry for the maintenance of
dental handpieces and turbines, according to the instructions in this manual, which forms an
integral part of the device.
The device performs a default maintenance cycle to clean and lubricate handpieces and
turbines. Maintenance is performed inside the air and water ducts of the turbines and
handpieces as well as in the compartments of the moving mechanical parts.
This is performed automatically according to the mode selected by the user, without the risks
that derive from handling contaminated instruments.
The device can perform 2 types of preset maintenance: COMPLETE or just LUBRICATION.

DESCRIPTION
Air injection in all the ducts of the handpiece
and/or turbine to remove the liquid or solid
particles that penetrate the instrument during
use.
This phase reduces over 90% of the amount
of microbial contamination. It removes the
residual organic material from the previous
procedure.
Chemical disinfection is only performed if
suitable liquid disinfectant is used in the
percentages specified by the manufacturer.
Air injection in all the ducts of the handpiece
and/or turbine to expel any residue of the
cleaning-disinfection process and to dry the
treated parts.
Lubrication of the moving mechanical parts
with specific oil (nebulised for a preset
volume) in just the supply duct of the
turbine and the
