II.8.1
KEAP ACCESSORY - OUTDOOR AIR PROBE (120÷130)
For correct shifting temperature adjustment of water coming out of the heat pump, it is important that the air temperature has a
significant value and is not influenced by the incorrect position of the sensor/unit. The unit is equipped with an outdoor air temperature sensor located
next to the fin-packed heat exchanger. If the unit is installed facing the sun and outdoor air temperature reading is therefore altered, it is possible to
connect the KEAP remote control outdoor air probe accessory. This requires the following operation:
purchase the KEAP accessory
disconnect the outdoor air probe from the board and connect the remote control sensor to the same clamps, following the relative instructions
on the instruction sheet.
IMPORTANT!
The outdoor air temperature sensor is very
important for unit control in normal operation and
to manage the defrost cycles. Therefore, you
should pay particular attention if installing the
KEAP.
Maximum length of the probe cable 30m; use shielded cable consisting of 2 twisted 0.5 mm² conductors and the screen. The shield must be connected
to the earth screw on the panel (on one side only).

FDL ACCESSORY - FORCED DOWNLOAD COMPRESSORS (120÷130)
The FDL accessory (forced reduction of the power consumed by the unit) allows power to be restricted according to the utility requirements by setting,
on a dedicated page, the desired maximum power %. The function, which can be enabled and configured from the unit display, can activated via a
digital signal (potential-free contact), daily time bands or, if there is a serial network, via Modbus. In the presence of the EEM accessory, which allows
for the instantaneous measurement of the absorbed power, it is possible to set a precise maximum absorbed power value.

II.9.1

APPLICATIONS FOR PARTIAL (DS) AND TOTAL (RC100) RECOVERY AND DHW PRODUCTION

Overview
Condensation heat in a chiller is usually dispersed into the air; it can be recovered intelligently by means of heat recovery, which may be partial
(DS) or total (RC100). With summer operation, a reduced value equivalent to the desuperheating of gas is recovered in the first phase, while the
second phase recovers all the condensation heat that would otherwise be lost.
In the case of a reversible heat pump, partial recovery (DS) and total recovery (RC100) can also run in winter mode. In the former case, the partial
recovery (DS) deducts a rate from the heat production in the main heat exchanger, whereas, in the latter case of total recovery, the heat production
is an alternative to that of the main heat exchanger.
