Aufstellung
Die Kompletteinheit Panther muss
waagerecht auf ebener Fläche aufgestellt
werden.
Das Drehkolbengebläse kann direkt
aufgestellt oder mittels der Gewinde-
bohrungen an den Schwingmetallpuffern
befestigt werden.
Folgende Umgebungsbedingungen müssen
gegeben sein:
Umgebungstemperatur: -10 bis +40°C
Umgebungsdruck = Atmosphäre
Um ein Überhitzen des Gebläses zu
vermeiden, ist stets auf genügend
Frischluftzufuhr zu achten. Bei der
Ausführung mit Schalldämmhaube ist darauf
zu achten, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht
abgedeckt sind.
Bei der Ausführung mit Schalldämmhaube
wird eine Verbindungsmanschette für die
Frischluftversorgung des Motors mitgeliefert.
Sie muss als Verbindung zwischen dem
Motor und der Aussenwand der
Schalldämmhaube angebracht werden (Fig.
5).

2. Saug- und Druckanschluss
Der Anschluss an den Saug/Druckflansch
des Aggregates kann über einen
vakuumdichten, flexiblen Schlauch erfolgen.
Die Rohrleitungen dürfen durch die
Befestigung keine Spannungen auf das
Gebläse übertragen. Zur sicheren
Verbindung dient die mitgelieferte flexible
Anschlussmanschette (Fig. 6)

Setting-up
The Panther unit must be set up horizontally
on a flat surface. The Roots pump can be set
up directly or mounted with screws via the
threads of the rubber feet on the pump.
The following ambient operating conditions
must be observed:
Ambient temperature: -10 to +40°C
Ambient pressure = Atmosphere
In order to avoid overheating of the Roots
pump, an undisturbed fresh-air flow to the
pump is necessary. In the case of the version
with silencing hood make sure that the
ventilation openings are not covered.
In case of the version with acoustic hood a
connecting collar for the fresh-air supply to
the motor is delivered that must be installed
between motor and the outer wall of the
acoustic hood (Fig. 5).

2. Inlet/ Outlet connection
The inlet/outlet flange can be connected with
a vacuum/pressure-tight flexible hose or pipe.
The mounted pipes should cause no tension
on the pump's flanges. For a safe connection
use the supplied flexible connecting collar
(Fig. 6)

Préparation
L'unité Panther doit être placée sur une surface
plane horizontale.
La pompe Roots peut être placée directement
au sol ou peut être fixée par l'intermédiaire de
fixations vissées dans les supports élastiques
existants.
La pompe doit fonctionner dans
I'environnement suivant:
Température ambiante: -10 à +40°C
Pression ambiante = pression atmosphérique
Pour éviter un échauffement anormal de la
pompe, il faut prévoir une ventilation suffisante.
Pour la version équipée avec un capot
d'insonorisation il faut s'assurer que les prises
d'air ne soient pas obturées.
Pour la version avec capot d'insonorisation, une
manchette souple est prévue pour étre installée
entre le moteur et le capot insonorisant. (Fig. 5).
2. Raccordement aspiration/ echappement
La bride d'aspiration/pression doit être
raccordée par une tuyauterie souple ou rigide
étanche au vide.
Cette tuyauterie ne doit exercer aucune
contrainte a bride d'aspiration. Pour un
raccordement sûr, utilisez la manchette de
jonction flexible livrée (Fig. 6)
