Disconnecting
When removing the contra angle head, pull it out axially�
● Before connecting and disconnecting the contra angle head, turn off the power�
● Check that the contra angle head is securely assembled to the motor handpiece�
● Mount the lubricated contra angle head to the motor handpiece� Calibration cannot be performed
correctly if lubrication is not done� See "4 – 7 – 1 Calibration" for calibration�

Inserting and removing the file
Inserting

Insert the file until it is correctly secured in
place�

Depress the push button and insert the file
into the chuck until the file "notch"
mechanism engages� Release the button�

Confirm that the file is secure by gently
pulling and pushing the file without
depressing the push button�
Removing
Depress the push button to open the chuck and remove the file�
● Before mounting and removing the file, turn off the power�
● Always keep the file shank clean� Dirt or debris in the chuck could cause poor file concentricity or
low chuck retention force�
● Do not use files with problems listed below as the file may break, seize up or disengage from the
chuck�
– Bent, deformed, worn, rusted, broken, deficient file�
– File which is cracked on the edge or axis�
– Non-ISO (EN ISO) standard, or tampered file�
● When replacing files, be sure to wipe any dirt from the file insertion port surface with a dry cloth
before attaching a new file�
