Wipe the contact part of the contra angle
head and adaptor (ADS 2: Miele/63500:
Melag) with disinfectant wipes (Minuten
Wipes: ALPRO)�

Attach the contra angle head to the adaptor
(ADS 2: Miele/63500: Melag) of the washer-
disinfector�
● Use a cleaning and disinfecting device (washer-disinfector) complying with DIN EN ISO 15883
(e�g� Miele washer-disinfector G7781 / G7881; Melag Melatherm), operating with a maximum pH
value of 10�5 (e�g� neodisher, Dr� Weigert) and equipped with an appropriate adaptor� Proof of
suitability for the process must be obtained from the washer-disinfector manufacturer�
● Perform automated cleaning and disinfection according to the operation manual of washer-
disinfector�
● When using a washer-disinfector, dry the product completely� Remaining moisture causes internal
corrosion and inadequate lubrication�
● When cleaning the contra angle head with washer-disinfector, using a neutral enzymatic detergent
(pH 7�0 - 8�0) is recommended�

Clean and disinfect the contra angle head�

Remove the contra angle head from the
adaptor (ADS 2: Miele/63500: Melag) of the
washer-disinfector�

Wipe the residual moisture of the contra
angle head with a dry cloth or blow it off with
filtered clean compressed air (≤0�35MPa)
until there is no moisture in the interior and
exterior of the contra angle head�

Under appropriate lighting (≥500lx), inspect
the contra angle head for contamination�
If any visible contamination remains, repeat
the process from procedure No� 2 until it is
visually clean�
