Testing the Loadcell
F
1. With an empty tray on the scale, enter counts mode
(see below). If the displayed counts are outside of
500–5000, proceed to step 2.
2. Place a 7.5-kg weight on the tray and enter counts
mode. Adjust the VR4 until the counts shown are
32768 ±10 counts (see Adjusting the Zero Offset on
page 3-17).
If step 2 is not possible, return the scale to Natus
Medical for loadcell replacement.
Weight Lock Inhibit Mode
G
Pressing gm/lb twice enters Weight Lock Inhibit Mode; in
this mode, weights cannot lock on the display.
NOTE: Press off to exit test mode at any time.
Counts Mode
H
Simultaneously press Reweigh and power on the scale.
The raw AD counts show on the display. Press Zero to
momentarily show the calibration coefficient.
