Charging the Battery

The Smart Scale has a rechargeable battery pack that
automatically charges ("Charging" signal illuminates on the display
panel) whenever the scale is connected to an electrical outlet.
NOTE: The scale can be used while connected to an
electrical outlet with the battery pack removed, or while the
batteries are charging.

Charge Life

With fully charged batteries the scale will operate for
approximately three hours of continuous use — enough for about
150 weighings.
NOTE: When the power cord is not in use, wrap it around
the cleats on the rear of the scale.

Low Battery (LO BAT)

The LO BAT signal indicates how much battery life remains:
If slowly blinking, the battery is getting low.

If lit and steady, approximately 30 minutes of continuous

battery-powered operation time remains.
If rapidly blinking, the battery charge has been depleted and

the scale will automatically turn off. Connect the scale to a
functioning electrical wall outlet for recharging.
When LO BAT appears, connect the scale to an electrical outlet to
recharge the battery.
