4. Carefully slide the front edge of scale over edge of a bench.
Remove the front screw and then loosen the two screws on the
front bottom hatch (Fig. 3H).
5. Slide the hatch back and lift it from its front edge. Next, slip
the flat ribbon cable out of retaining clip and remove hatch.
6. Remove the eight screws around the lower edge of the case
(Fig. 3I).

7. Ensure that the ribbon cable is connected to the display.
Carefully lift off the upper case and rotate it 180º, pivoting
around the ground and ribbon cable in the front. Set the rotated
case down in front of the scale (Fig. 3J). (The display panel
now faces the back.)
