Overload
If the load exceeds 15 kg (33 lbs-1oz), the overload signal on the
display panel will illuminate. Reduce the weight on the scale.
Setting the Averaging Signal Volume
The Smart Scale sounds an audible beep to alert users when it
is computing a weight in "Averaging" mode — this beep acts as a
reminder to keep hands off of the tray.
The Averaging Tone Volume Control knob is located below the
control panel to the right. Rotating the knob to the far left silences
the tone; rotating the knob to the right gradually increases the
volume.
Setting the Brakes on
Cart-Mounted Scales
The front two casters wheels of the Smart Scale Model 65 have
foot brakes. To set or release the brake, step on the lever.
CAUTION: Always lock the brake casters on the cart before
placing a baby in the tray.
CAUTION: Never use the scale to transport the baby.
Cleaning
Wipe the Smart Scale clean with liquid disinfectant.
CAUTION: Do not allow liquid to enter case as this may
damage the electronics.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to tray, do not wipe with alcohol.
