1 STANDBY: When flashing, the scale is
warming up and automatically zeroing. Do not
touch tray; wait until the "Standby" light dims
and "0" appears on the display before placing
the baby on the tray.
2 AVERAGING
Hands Off Tray: When flashing, that scale has
detected baby movement and is automatically
computing baby's weight.
CAUTION: Do not touch the tray or baby while
the averaging light is flashing — if touched,
an error in weight will result.
3 READ
Reading Locked: Okay to read. The final
weight has been computed and is locked on the
display.
4 1 gm: The scale is set to weigh within one
gram resolution.

5 5 gm: The scale is set to weigh within five-
grams resolution.
6 OVERLOAD: There is too much weight on the
tray. The maximum weight is 33 lbs (14.8 kg).
7 LB OZ: The display shows weight in pounds
and ounces.
8 GRAMS: The display shows the weight
in grams.
9 LOW BAT: The battery power is low. To
recharge, plug the scale into a hospital-grade
electrical outlet.
10 CHARGING: The batteries are charging
(connected to an electrical outlet).
11 LAST WEIGHT: When illuminated, the
display shows the last weight locked before it
was turned off.
