Fast Measurement
The Fast measurement measuring method (FAST MODE) enables the
recording of measured values from upto four fast channels. In the case
of these fast channels, the measurement is performed at a storage in-
terval of 100 µs. Further, 16 additional channels can be measured with
a storage interval of 1 ms.
INFORMATION
The use of the Fast measurement measuring method is only pos-
sible with analog external sensors. They must be configured accord-
ingly prior to their use. Refer to Chapter & "Input Modules A and B"
on Page 98.
After selecting the fast measurement measuring method, the device
displays a predefined trigger and corresponding parameters to com-
plete the measurement.
1 Tap on the
Ä The configuration window opens in which to define the param-
eters.
2 Select a trigger and define the parameters trigger according to
your application.
The following settings are available to be defined:
Designation
Storage time
Pre-Trigger time
Trigger type
Auto repeat
Ring buffer

button.
Description
Set the storage time for the measurement.
When the storage time has expired, the mea-
surement stops automatically
Define the period of time in which the measured
values have already been recorded prior to the
trigger being triggered
Select the trigger type for the measurement
When the option is activated, the measurement
is started again the next time the trigger is trig-
gered after automatic storage of the previous
measurement
If this option is activated, the defined memory
area is continuously overwritten by current mea-
sured data
