CAN Input Module (SCMI-600-02)

The CAN input module (SCMI-600-02) is equipped with two passive
CAN bus connections for external sensors without automatic sensor
detection (external CAN).
INFORMATION
The passive CAN bus connections are galvanically separated from
each other and from the device. Both connections are provided with
connectable terminating resistors.
The passive CAN bus connections are optimally suited to reading
out diesel motor data via the SAE J1939 protocol. Messages from
other CAN protocols can also be read out. In this case, the CAN input
module is passive and cannot be detected by other CAN masters.
The figure indicates the connection ports on the analog input module:
