7.3 Cleaning and Decontamination
Cleaning agents and tissues
To clean the GuardOne ® Workstation, use the following cleaning agents and cleaning equipment:
› lint-free cleaning tissue
› alcohol-based disinfectant
For cleaning, a wipe disinfection with alcohol based disinfectants is recommended.

Cleaning interval
The following intervals must be adhered to:
› After each use of the GuardOne
cleaning agent. Depending on the intended use of the GuardOne
by the UV lamp.
› In case of a visible contamination, carry out appropriate cleaning.
› To ensure the optimal function of the pre-filter, it is recommended to visually inspect the pre-filter in regular intervals. Exchange it as soon
as it is visibly dirty, latest after a period of 6 months.
Cleaning the outside area of the GuardOne
Preconditions:
› The recommended cleaning intervals have been observed.
› The GuardOne ® Workstation is switched off or disconnected from the power supply.
1. Use a lint-free cleaning tissue to dust off the outer glass chamber of the GuardOne
2. If necessary, gently wipe the outside of the glass chamber with a mild detergent.
Cleaning the touchscreen
Preconditions:
› The recommended cleaning intervals have been observed.
› The GuardOne ® Workstation is switched off or disconnected from the power supply.
1. Use a lint-free, slightly damp cleaning tissue to gently wipe the touchscreen.
2 In case of heavy soiling, apply a little alcohol-based detergent to the cleaning tissue.
Gently wipe the touchscreen with the cleaning tissue.

® Workstation, carry out the cleaning according to use. Clean the workstation with a recommended

Activating the automatic life time surveillance
1. To navigate to the Home page, press Tap to unlock.
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Replace UV Light.
4. Enter the 10-digit serial number shown on the sticker on the packa-
ging of the UV lamp.
5. Press Enter to finish the installation procedure.
The GuardOne Workstation is now ready to be used again.
®
The remaining life time of the UV bulb is 9000 hours.
® Workstation, carry out the decontamination of the PC glass chamber
Workstation.
