ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Safety devices
- For each MT Compressor: one HPCat IV safety pressure switch with 120 bars cut-off and
84 bars reset.
- For each LT Compressor (SH booster version only): one safety pressure switch with :
– If 80b MWP (standard) : 72 bars cut-off and 60 bars reset.
– If 60b MWP (option) : 54 bars cut-off and 45 bars reset.
– If 52b MWP (option) : 47 bars cut-off and 40 bars reset.
- For each unit : a general safety pressure switch Cat IV with 108 bars cut-off and 100.5 bars
reset
- For each unit (SH version only): one MP Cat IV safety pressure switch with:
– If 80b MWP (standard) : 72 bars cut-off and 64.5 bars reset.
– If 60b MWP (option) : 54 bars cut-off and 46.5 bars reset.
– If 52b MWP (option) : 47 bars cut-off and 39.5 bars reset.
Crankase heater
Powered during compressor stops.
Electronic compressor protection module (SH version only)
Bitzer compressors are equipped with SE-B1 protection (motor winding protection)
Electronic oil level controller (SH version with active oil management only)
- All MT compressors unit are equipped with an oil level sensor with an optical sensor. The
oil supply to these controllers is carried out as follows:
- The oil is separated from the refrigerant by the oil separator.
- When the oil separator level sensor indicates a sufficient presence of oil in the separator, it
activates a solenoid valve which allows the transfer of oil from the separator to the oil
receiver. The pressure in the oil receiver is maintained at the pressure of the MP liquid
receiver.
- The oil regulators are fed through a filter and a header

CONTROL CONNECTIONS

The control cabinet and the automation systems provided on the refrigeration units do not take
into account the consumers.
Since we are not the designer of the installation, we are not responsible for the electrical
diagram of the complete refrigeration system.
Nevertheless, it is imperative to ensure that the solenoid valves are always closed when all
compressors are shut down safely.
