REFRIGERATION NETWORK CONNECTION
Important notice: external piping sizing of the rack belongs to the installer depending
on the application and configuration of the installation.
These pipes must be regularly inspected according to standards, states of the art, and local
regulation applicable.
It is the responsibility of the installer to protect (by installing valves, purge valves, etc.)
piping networks of its own supply.
The suction and discharge lines diameters must be designed in order to ensure a correct oil
return not based on the diameters of the suction valves of the unit. The slope of the pipes
must always be in the direction of the refrigeration unit, never of back slope.
The pipework of the gascooler return line must ensure a gravity flow of the condensate in
subcritical regime towards the receivers. It must be sized for transcritical operation.
Liquid line connection: to be connected after the liquid station (Valves + By-pass + sight
glass + filter drier). The shut-off valves are "locked" valves (diameters depending on the size
of the unit)
The safety valves must be connected to the outside of the machinery room without any
isolation valve in accordance with EN 378-2.
The connection must be made on site by the installer.
Caution must be taken during the 1.1 x PS tests carried out on site under the responsibility of
the installer to avoid activation of the safety valves (must be disassembled).
The time of this test must be at least 30 minutes.
