HANDLING OF THE UNIT
Unit receipt
- Make sure that the equipment or its accessories have not been damaged during
shipping and no parts are missing.
- Check if is the unit is still under nitrogen holding charge pressure at 3 bars +/- 0.5 bars
- If the rack has been damaged or if the delivery is incomplete, please establish reserves
on the receipt of transport and confirm them by letter with acknowledgement of
receipt under 48 hours to the transportation company with a copy to PROFROID
- If the delivery does not correspond to your order (model of compressors or supply
voltage, for example), please contact PROFROID
- Carry the refrigeration unit gently and keep it in a vertical position as much as possible.
- DO NOT lay-down the refrigeration unit. The loading and unloading operations must
be performed with adequate handling equipment (forklift, crane, etc.) using possible
lifting points provided for this purpose.
- The qualified professional must be certified and must wear individual safety
equipment (protective gloves, glasses, safety shoes, etc.); operators must never
circulate under the load during lifting operations.
FORKLIFT
- When carrying the refrigeration unit with a forklift, use a packaging wood base or
pallet for maintaining the refrigeration unit in the vertical position.
CRANE
– When carrying the refrigeration unit with a crane, use a packaging wood base or pallet
for maintaining the refrigeration unit in a vertical position.
– Make sure that the unit is safely secured to the lifting straps.
– During handling, the operator will ensure a good balance to prevent the equipment
from swinging.
