COMMISSIONING
– For compressors equipped with a frequency converter, the drive ensures the start-up
phase and the safety of the compressor motor. (See parameters pre-set in the drive)
– Repeat these steps for each compressor. Check that no suspicious noise comes from
the machine.

Additional refrigerant charge

– Very quickly, proceed with an additional refrigerant charge. Indeed, the low charge
of fluid leads to a high superheat, and therefore, to abnormally high discharge
temperatures.
– A charge service valve is located on the filter dryer station.

Operating controls

– Shortly after start-up, the operating conditions of the installation must be checked:
Compressors
– The compressor must operate in its operating range. Check for each compressor
(the others being stopped):
– the discharge pressure
– the suction temperature
– the discharge temperature
– the oil level
