Troubleshooting
If the actions listed below fail to rectify the problems or other problems not
listed here occur, contact our hotline (local rate).
The service number can be found behind the side cover (10) or in the Ser-
vice area of our website.
Problem
Co ee only emerges
from the outlet in
drips.
Co ee does not ow. Water tank not lled

Set a coarser grinding neness (see
section 8.7 on page 84).
Clean the brewing unit (see sec-
tion 9.3 on page 86).
Run the cleaning programme (see
section 9.6 on page 89).
Descale the appliance (see sec-
tion 9.7 on page 90).
Fill the water tank and ensure it is
positioned correctly (see sec-
tion 4.5 on page 66).
Clean the brewing unit (see sec-
tion 9.3 on page 86).
Top up co ee beans (see sec-
tion 5.1 on page 71).
Press a direct key.
Tap lightly on the bean container.
Clean the bean container.
Co ee beans too oily. Use di erent
co ee beans.

Check that the handle for the
locking mechanism is correctly
