AVENTICS | Bus Coupler AES/Valve Driver AV, PROFIBUS DP | R412018135–BAL–001–AG
The assignment of valve solenoid coils to bits is as follows:
Table 18:

Output byte
Bit 7

Bits that are marked with a "–" may not be used and are assigned the value "0".

Tables 18–20 refer to double solenoid valves. With a single solenoid valve, only solenoid 14
is used (bits 0, 2, 4, and 6).
6.2
Diagnostic data
The valve driver sends the diagnostic message as an identifier-related diagnosis to the bus coupler.
It shows the number of the slot where the error occurred. The diagnostic message consists of a
diagnostic bit, which is set in the event of a short circuit of an output (group diagnostics).
The diagnostic bit can be read as follows:
Bit = 1: An error has occurred.
Bit = 0: No error has occurred.
6.3
Parameter data
The valve driver board does not contain any parameters.
