• The wheel you have purchased is designed to use tubular tires.
• Having fitted the suitable tubular tire, check that diameter and cross-section are compatible with the dimensions of the wheel.
• The installation of the tubular tire on the wheel is an operation which requires special attention; refer to the instructions enclosed with the tubular tire.
We recommend, in any case, applying at least 3 coats of glue to the rim and 1 coat to the tire and to leave the tubular tire to "set" for at least 24
hours before using the wheel.
WARNING!
Failure to properly install the tire can cause sudden and unexpected loss of tire pressure, resulting in an accident, personal injury or death.
• Use acetone to degrease the bonding surface of the rim before applying the glue for tubular tire installation.
• Before fitting the tubular tire, gently rub the bonding surface on the rim with fine emery cloth.
• We recommend using tubular tires with a minimum valve length of 30 mm.
4.1 - USE OF THE ADAPTER FOR INFLATING
• Open the valve of the tubular tire (Fig. 2).
• Screw the adapter onto the valve for two turns only (Fig. 3).
• Take the seal from its seat in the adapter and place it directly
on the valve (Fig. 4).
• Screw the adapter onto the valve by hand (Fig. 5).
