Das Gerät kann mit allen Sicherheitsschal-
tern von Pilz in Reihe geschaltet werden.
Im Anschlussbeispiel werden die Sicherheits-

schalter gemeinsam über die Zutrittsanforde-
rung (X1-5) ent- und verriegelt.
Beachten Sie bei der Parallelschaltung der Si-
cherheitsschalter den maximalen Magnetstrom
(siehe technische Daten) und das zulässige
Schaltvermögen des Auswertegerätes ggf.
müssen die Hubmagneten einzeln angesteuert
werden.
Wenn der Hubmagnet einkanalig angesteuert

wird, dann kann nur PL d (Cat. 2)/SIL CL 2 er-
reicht werden. Um PL e (Cat. 4)/SIL CL 3 zu er-
reichen, muss der Hubmagnet zweikanalig an
X1-6 und X1-7 angesteuert werden.

Series connection
CAUTION!
When several units are connected in series,
the delay-on de-energisation time increas-
es in direct proportion to the number of in-
terconnected safety switches.

The device can be switched in series with
all safety switches from Pilz.
In the connection example the safety switches
are released and locked together via the access
request (X1-5).
Please note that in the series connection of the
safety switches the maximum solenoid current
(see technical data) and the permitted switch-
ing capability of the evaluation device. If neces-
sary, the solenoids must be operated
individually.
When the solenoid is operated in single-chan-
nel, only PL d (Cat. 2)/SIL CL 2 can be
achieved. To achieve PL e (Cat. 4)/SIL CL 3 the
solenoid must have dual-channel operation at
X1-6 and X1-7.

Montage en série
Dans l'exemple de raccordement, les capteurs
de sécurité sont déverrouillés et verrouillés en-
semble via la demande d'accès (X1-5).
En cas de montage en série des capteurs de
sécurité, respectez le courant magnétique
maximum (voir les caractéristiques techniques)
et les caractéristiques de commutation autori-
sées de l'unité de contrôle. Le cas échéant, les
tiges aimantées doivent être commandées sé-
parément.
Si la tige aimantée est commandée par un ca-
nal, il est uniquement possible d'atteindre PL
d (cat. 2)/SIL CL 2. Pour atteindre PL e (cat. 4)/
SIL CL 3, la tige aimantée doit être commandée
par deux canaux sur X1-6 et X1-7.

avec le nombre de capteurs de sécurité
montés.
