Adaptive Calibration Timer: ACT
The ACT provides information as to when the next
calibration is required to ensure measurements will
remain within the specified accuracy. This calcula-
tion is based on the sensor wear information.
Calibration history
The last thre calibrations and the factory calibration
data are stored in the sensor memory. These data
can be read out with a transmitter using the "Info
Menu".
The calibration history gives valuable information
regarding the quality of the calibration and the wear
of the MembraCap.
6.1.5 ISM design
The integrated ISM functionality allows extensive
monitoring of the sensor. The following parameters
are stored in the sensor:
– serial no.
– type of sensor
– calibration data
– CIP / SIP counter
– slope
– baseline
Whenever the sensor is connected to a transmitter
the following automatic test procedures are imple-
mented:
– digital communication
– Plug and Measure
– pre-calibration
– predictive maintenance
6.2
Changing the MembraCap
The sensor has been designed to allow the user to
exchange the service parts within the shortest time
frame.
This is achieved by reducing the maintenance to
only one part, the replacement of the MembraCap.
The MembraCap consists of one piece and incor-
porates a polimeric membrane that controls the
diffusion of CO
the thermal conductivity is measured.

Attention! When the MembraCap is detached, take
care not to damage the inner parts of the sensor.
Damage and soiling of the inner parts, especially the
thermal conductivity chip, may influence the signal
or destroy the sensor.
