Start-up

Each sensor is supplied ready to use. Before using
remove the protecting cap.
5.2

Configuration

5.2.1 Sensor detection

Before installing the CO
manual for the transmitter and configure the
transmitter for automatic sensor detection. The
M800 transmitter does not need any pre-configura-
tion.
5.2.2 CO
solubility and temp. factor

The sensor is delivered factory calibrated and is set
up to measure in beer as the default.
The sensor offers a choice of CO
surement in beer, cola or water. For other beverages
the user has the possibility to enter individual values
for CO
Default values for measurement in beer (Valid for
temperatures – 5 ... 50 °C):
CO
 solubility (A):  1.420 g / L

Temp. factor (B):  2485
Values for pure water:
CO
 solubility (A):  1.471 g / L

Temp. factor (B):  2491
Values for cola:
CO
 solubility (A):  1.345 g / L
2
Temp. factor (B):  2370
For beverages where the user knows the exact CO
solubility and the temperature factor the values can
be changed individually. If the user desires to evau-
ate the solubility and temperature factors they can
be evaluated with the following formulas.
