Variatori serie VAR_0
Nei variatori VAR la trasmissione del movimento avviene per
attrito fra due componenti (uno in acciaio e l'altro in grafite)
che non richiedono lubrificazione.
I gruppi vengono forniti con una piccola quantità di grasso
contenuta nella camera stagna fra i due cuscinetti dell'albero
uscita che dovrà essere ripristinata esclusivamente in caso di
smontaggio della flangia camma secondo le modalità riportate
nel paragrafo relativo alla manutenzione.
Variatori serie VAR_/1, /2
Nei variatori abbinati ad un riduttore a 1, 2 stadi di riduzione,
solo quest'ultimo è previsto con lubrificazione ad olio sintetico
SHELL Omala S4 WE 320.

Variators series VAR_0
In VAR variators drive transmission is by friction between two
components (one made of steel and the other of graphite) that
do not require lubrication.
The units are supplied with a small quantity of grease
contained in the sealed chamber between the two bearings of
the output shaft which must be replenished only in the case of
removal of the cam flange according to the instructions shown
in the maintenance paragraph.
Variators series VAR_/1, /2
In the case of variators combined with a reducer with 1, 2
reduction stages, only the latter need to be lubricated with
synthetic oil SHELL Omala S4 WE 320.

I riduttori abbinati ai variatori forniti con lubrificazione perma-
nente non necessitano di alcuna manutenzione.
Per gli altri tipi si consiglia di effettuare una prima sostituzione
del lubrificante dopo le prime 300-500 ore di funzionamento,
provvedendo ad un lavaggio interno prima del ripristino.
Evitare di miscelare olî sintetici con olî a base minerale.
Controllare periodicamente il livello del lubrificante effettuando
la sostituzione indicativamente agli intervalli riportati nella ta-
bella a pag. 14.
Gear reducers combined with variators, supplied with long life
lubrication do not require any maintenance.
For other types of gear reducers the first oil change must take
place after 300 to 500 hours of operation. Make sure that the
inside has been thoroughly washed out before filling up with
fresh oil.
Do not mix synthetic oils with mineral oils.
Check the oil level regularly and change oil at the intervals
shown in the table at page 14.
