Before using the appliance or after any impact, check
it for any damage and repair it if necessary.

Do not use the appliance if the protective equipment
is damaged or fitted improperly.

Make sure the engine ventilation slots are always with
no dirt or remains.

When working, make sure there are no persons or
animals within a range of minimum 10 m. Switch
the appliance immediately off if anyone,
especially children, gets within the appliance.
9.
Stones or other items may be thrown away when
using the tools kit and cause serious injuries.
10. When the appliance is being operated, do not get
near the moving parts (near the cutting equipment).
11. Before using the appliance, it is necessary to remove
any stones, branches and other solid materials from
the area of your work.
12. Pay maximum attention when extending the string.
After taking this step, it is necessary to retake the
proper working position before putting the appliance
into operation.
13. Do not use metal spools of string. Please be sure to
know that the appliance keeps running for five more
seconds after releasing the switch button.
Assembly (pic. A+B+C+D+E)
Handle
Put the handle (pic. A/1) on the shaft (pic. A/6).
Fasten it using the bolt and nut (included in the
supply - pic. B).
Blade cover
Fit the blade cover (pic. A/4) in the designated place
on the bent shaft (pic. A/2).
Fasten it using the bolt and nut (included in the
supply - pic. C).
Fitting
Insert the bent shaft (pic. A/2) in the straight shaft
(pic. A/6) as shown in pic. D.
Tighten the lock screw (pic. A/14).
Shoulder strap
Press the snap hook on the shoulder strap to the eye
(pic. A/7) (pic. E).
Operation (pic. F+G+H+I+J)
Put the operating switch to "I" (pic F).
Put the choke lever to the Start position (pic. G).
Press the Primer pump 3-5 times (pic. H).
Start the appliance by controlled pulling the starter
cable. In doing so, press the appliance to the ground
with the other hand (pic. I).
Now press the hand throttle so that the appliance
runs steadily and achieves full revolutions (pic. J).
As soon as the appliance is running, put the choke
lever back to the initial position.
Safety instructions to the operator
To switch the appliance off, the switch must be
in the "0" position.
Please follow any specific regulations of the given country
or local regulations when cutting.
Do not cut in generally recognised rest times.
Solid items – stones, metal parts, etc. – need to be
removed. They may get thrown away and cause personal
or material damage.
The working height must be at least 15 cm when cutting
in high bushes or thick in order not to put animals such as
hedgehog at risk.
Cutting grass

Hold the lawn trimmer on small grass section at an
angle of app. 30° and turn it evenly in semicircular
right / left movement around your axis.

Best results are achieved with the grass height of not
more than 15 cm. If the grass is higher, several
cutting processes are recommended.
CAUTION! Do not put the cutting head on the
ground when operating the appliance!
If the cutting output drops:
1.)
Hold the appliance that is being operated above the
grass section and tap slightly the cutting head at the
ground several times. The string will extend by this.
2.)
The knife inserted in the protective cover will cut off
the string to the required length.
CAUTION! String remains may get thrown away
and cause injuries.
If the appliance is vibrating:
Clean the appliance and remove any grass remains from
the cutting head and protective cover.

Hold the lawn trimmer firmly and safely with both hands at
all times!
2.
Cut grass and weed only; low bushes can be cut with a
bush knife.
3.
Work considerately and do not put anyone at risk when
cutting. Work easily and cautiously!
4.
Work under adequate visibility and light only!
5.
Watch the cutting blade!
6.
Never cut above the shoulder level!
7.
Never replace the plastic cord with a steel wire – risk of
injury and damage!
8.
Never work on a ladder!
Work on hard and stable surfaces only!
Use the appliance only after reading carefully the
Operating Instructions.
Follow all safety instructions specified in the manual.
Behave responsibly to other persons.
Step by step instructions
Remove any undesirable items from the treated
terrain.
Wear adequate protective clothing.
Start the appliance as described in the "Operation"
section.
Follow all applicable safety instructions and move
in semicircle when cutting the area.
Clean the appliance after using it and check the
knife blade and protective equipment for any
damage.
Transport and storing
If the lawn trimmer has not been used for a long time (1
month), take the following steps:
Drain the oil and fuel tank.
Remove and clean the spool of string and the knife
blade.
Dry the spool of string and the knife blade.
Wipe the outer part of the lawn trimmer with a soft
cloth soaked in fine soapy water.
Keep the lawn trimmer in an elevated or locked
place inaccessible to children.
Keep the lawn trimmer in a dry place.
