Lift arm will not lower during a powered
retraction.

TROUBLESHOOTING
FAULTS
Mast/Base joint loose.
Tie - Rods are loose.
Fluff or debris in bearings.
Needs lubrication.
Hydraulic pump in need of service.
Contol Valve not fully closed.
Manual / Hydraulic pump in need of
service.
Hand-control or actuator connector loose.
Batteries low.
RED emergency stop button pressed IN.
Battery not connected properly to con-
trol box.
The connecting terminals are damaged.
Electric actuator in need of service or load
is too high.
Actuator is worn or damaged or spindle is
bent.
Lift arms require a minimum weight load
to lower from the uppermost position.
Shoulder bolt at the junction of the boom
and mast may not be properly installed.

MAINTENANCE section in this manual.
Refer to Manual / Hydraulic or Elec-

CARE AND MAINTENANCE section of
this manual. Contact your Dealer.
Close Control Valve.
Refer to Manual / Hydraulic or Elec-
tric Actuator Replacement in the
CARE AND MAINTENANCE section of
this manual. Contact your Dealer.
Check connections.
Charge batteries. Refer to CHARGING
THE BATTERIES in the OPERATION
section of this manual.
Rotate RED emergency stop button
CLOCKWISE until it pops out.
Reconnect the battery to the control box.
Refer to CHARGING BATTERIES in the
OPERATION section of this manual.
Replace the battery pack. Refer to
CHARGING BATTERIES in the OPE-
RATION section of this manual.
Refer to Manual / Hydraulic or Elec-
tric Actuator Replacement in the
CARE AND MAINTENANCE section of
this manual. Contact your Dealer.
Refer to ELECTRIC ACTUATOR RE-
PLACEMENT in the CARE AND
MAINTENANCE section of this
manual. Contact your Dealer.
Pull down slightly on the lift arms.
Make sure that the shoulder bolt is
completely through the mounting hole
and not just the threaded portion.
Tighten nut to bolt shoulder and back-
off the nut 1/8 of a turn.
