③Start the engine and increase the throttle while watching the pressure
gauge. After running for 1 minute with the pressure at 0.8MPa or 3 min-
utes at 0.5MPa, reduce the throttle to idling, and operate the vacuum
pump for 5 seconds, and then open the discharge valve and stop the
engine after discharging all the water.
④Open all the drain cocks and completely drain pump.
NOTE:
In cold or freezing conditions, feed antifreeze fluid into the pump and run the
pump briefly. For details, refer to "PRECAUTIONS IN COLD CONDITIONS."
(2) Check Suction Performance
After using the pump, completely drain pump, close all the cocks and
suction blank cap. Set the throttle dial to START▼SUCTION and run the
pump briefly without water. Make sure vacuum gauge remains stationary
after activating vacuum pump. Stop engine, open drain cock. After the
vacuum gauge has returned to "0", close drain cock for storage.

ACCESSORIES."
(4) Fuel/Oil Supply
Check the fuel, engine oil, governor oil, and top up as necessary so the
pump is always ready for use.
