• Always plane using both hands. When
planing with just one hand, you may
lose control over the electrical plane.
• Consider the unavoidable residual
risks when working with the
electrical plane. The following risks
are present even when the safety
mechanisms are in place:
• Injury caused by touching the
rotating blades
• Injury caused by breaking and flying
work piece parts
• Fire caused by overheating of the
motor in the event of insufficient
removal of shavings
• Only hold the power tool by the
insulated handles since the blade
shaft is capable of cutting its own
power cable. Contact with a power-
carrying cable may also energise
metal parts of the device and cause
an electric shock.
• Affix and secure the work piece to
a stable surface using clamps or
another suitable method. If you hold
the work piece with your hand only
or up against your body, it will be
unstable which may lead to a loss of
control.
• When the mains connection cable of
this device is damaged, it must be
replaced with a special connection
cable that can be obtained from the
manufacturer or their customer service.
• Wear a dust protection mask when
using the device.
