9.1.2 Cutting very narrow work
pieces
• A push block must always be
used for longitudinal cuts of very
narrow workpieces with a width
of 50 mm or less.
• The lower guide surface of the
parallel stop is preferable for this.
• Push block not included in the
scope of delivery! (available in the
relevant specialist shops) Replace
worn-out push blocks in a timely
manner.
9.2 Making diagonal cuts (Fig.9)
• max. mitre angle: 0-45°
Diagonal cuts are essentially made
by using the parallel stop (6). If you
are inclining the saw blade (25) left-
wards when making diagonal cuts,
position the parallel stop (6) on
the left side of the saw blade (25).
Guide the workpiece between the
saw blade (25) and parallel stop (6).
• Set the saw blade (25) to the
desired angle size.
• Set the parallel stop (6) in accord-
ance with the width and height of
the workpiece.
• Make the cut in accordance with
the width of the workpiece
9.3 Making crosscuts (Fig. 8)
• Slide the cross-stop (15) into the
groove (2) of the saw bench and
set the desired angle size.
• Press the workpiece firmly against
the cross-stop (15).

• Switch on the saw.
• Slide the cross-stop (15) and
workpiece towards the saw blade
to make the cut.
Warning! Always hold the
guided workpiece firmly,
never the free workpiece which is
being cut.
• Slide the cross-stop (15) forward
until the workpiece has been cut
through completely.
• Switch the saw off again. Only
remove waste from sawing when
the saw blade is not moving.
